Calling all Riu Negril brides

Hi ladies!

I thought that it may be a great idea to start a thread for everything that is Riu Negril. I've been looking around and it seems like there is information all over the place and it would be great if we could have one place to go to. I am getting married there on January 6th, 2010. Just over 6 months away. WOO HOO!!!!!!!

I don't have much information right now but I have tons of questions. I don't have time at this moment, but I will try to link to all the other threads relating to this soonly.

Alright ladies, let's start sharing!!

Great idea! I'm staying the Riu Negril but getting married off-site. I'll be there at the same time as you so we will have to meet up! Good luck with your planning; we'll have to share ideas about other activities that week =)

I saw your post about your custom-made wedding dress - awesome! Hope it's coming along well =)

OMG! we are DATE TWINS!!!!!!! My first! lol I wasn't sure if anyone else was getting married the same day as me, woo hoo!! :)

I'm getting married at the RUI Palace Tropical Bay Negril, May 17, 2010. It seems every time I read a new post I change my mind between a beach reception, or a private dinner, etc lol... So hopefully I will be able to commit to a decision!

Getting married at 4.00pm, 5th March 2010 at the Riu Negril.

Lisa, only 6 mths left for you, I remember when you was awaiting your confirmation date....... time does fly quickly and only 8mths for me.

Lisa is your dress finished now, it is really beautiful, you must be so pleased.

Baj - Yes it is getting exciting! I can't believe how time goes by so fast. The dress isn't quite done yet, but no worries there!

Just wanted to let you know that I got married at Riu Negril this past Thurs, and I will do my best to answer any questions you have. We just got home tonight, so I will post pics and a review soon.
