getting dress to DW

I was just wondering how you ladies are planning to get/got your dress to your location. I am planning on carrying it on the plane with the hopes that they will have somewhere to hang it. If all else fails, I will probably lay it in the overhead compartment. I am just worried that it won't fit in the overhead compartment because it is a slim A-Line.

thanks cause I am dreading this process,

LOL I have this visual of carrying it on and having to go thru security. Oh my. I might just have to pack it and carry it on. It is puffy don't know how this is gonna work.
