You know after my MIL and SMIL got a few beers/wine/fruity drinks in them.... They were dancing together on the dance floor HA HA HA

I know you are worried but there is nothing you can do unless you want to talk to her about it. Just try not to worry about it sweetie! You can't make people be anything else but themselves. Good or bad.

So this is totally off subject BUT I was just wondering... If I were to take my husband to breckenridge, do we fly into Denver? How far of a drive is it to Breckenridge?

Yes, Fly to Denver and it is about a 1 and a half hour drive (good weather). There are also shuttles to take it you do not want to rent a car. (Colorado Mountain Express is one example- they are about $70pp from Denver to Breck). PM me if you want more info. I lived in Vail for a few years also so have lots of info for visitors.

I guess it didn't fit into her schedule. Just stay positive and remember that the ones not going (that don't have a good excuse) aren't really worth breaking your heart over. Ya know?
Totally agree! Enjoy those that are there and who gives a flip about those who missed out! Your wedding is all they will be talking about when they get back!

My next confession...I do the above all the time!! Haha. Matt thinks its soooo funny that I'm like "oh, Celina had 70 shitheads not show for her AHR and Casey is coming to Dallas and Andrea had 4 more people book at the last minute!". I tell him about my day - which includes all of yall :)

So thanks to you all for being there and listening to my wedding stuff (and sharing yours!). I would probably lose a few friends if I talked to them about my wedding as much as I talk to yall! :)
Awww...any time! I feel the same way!

I too didn't fully understand all of it when I joined...now my FI makes fun of me for being on the forum all of the time...he will say stuff like "oh you finished the invites, better hurry and take pics to post them on your little forum!"...then I will tell him something like..."don't worry I already did!" blush2.gif
Ha ha, my DH says the same thing to me. He's like, "did you run it by the girls? What did they say?" It's too funny!

OH SNAPS!!.HA HA HA...I JUST DID THE SAME THING!! I just got back from sneaking out and going to buy a new outfit and some boots for my daughter and a new computer printer for our new computer that will be sent to my house tomorrow or Friday! That is too funny! I had to get a new outfit cause I am taking my daughter to High School Musical 3 tonight. I have to look a little hip to hang out with the kiddos. I also stopped filled up my gas tank and washed my truck!

Okay here's my confession:

We are doing a fundraiser here at work to help out the girl who used to work here before me.

She left here 8 - yes EIGHT years ago to save on daycare for her then 5 year old daughter. She left here to work nights at night court. When she used to work here she pretty much walked on water and could do no wrong. So when I came in, she had been gone for like 3 months and the place was a wreck. Everything in this building was outdated and the files were a wreck. Well, every time I would call to ask her something she was always snotty and rude to me. THEN - she would come in like 3 times a month to have lunch with the guys. She would never speak, just stick her nose in the air and walk on by. She was also really good friends with the guys who gave me the hardest time, treated me the rudest, and reminded me that "Janice did it this way" and "Janice was so great". One guy even went as far to tell me that I had big shoes to fill. Not all of the men were nice when I first started. Some of the conflict I had with the guys I thought was racial, but then I thought that maybe they were just being loyal to her. I basically had to prove myself to these guys and now we get along great and they are like the brothers I never had.

SO - fast forward to now - apparently her family has fell on hard times and from what I hear her and her husband may lose their home and she now has a 3 year old daughter who has diabetes. SO my boss has decided that we should raise money and ask for donations to help her and her family out.

The guys I work with are great and are so giving and generous. For example, for wedding gifts I have recieved almost $400 in cash and gifts. They are really wonderful guys. I am not jealous of her in any way shape or form, but I feel like she is one of those people who thrive off of sympathy and she always seems to create her own problems and basically I just don't like her because of what happened when I first started and the way she treated me.

SO - my confession is that I am not thrilled at all to keep telling the guys that ask, "So what are you collecting money for?"..her pitiful story. I want to tell them how rude and nasty she was towards me and that her bad karma has finally came back to her. (I know...that is SO mean).
