So, I sent my invitations out last week and am starting to receive the reply cards back. (yippee!) cheer2.gif I have some advice for those of you who still need to word your reply cards. I just put Will Attend and Will Not Attend as the options. I would NOT recommend doing this. They sound so mean when I read Mr and Mrs Smith Will Not Attend.frown.gif lol I know I picked the wording, but it really sounds harsh in my head. I wish I had put something like 'Can't Make It' or 'Bummed, we have to stay home'. Something with a better ring to it, KWIM? Its a tiny detail, but I swear its bothering me! So, thought some of you might benefit from this.

Also, I pre-filled the cards with peoples names. Found a Sharpie that matched the ink color and filled them right in to prevent 'extra' guests. Seems to be working so far and no one knows that's the reason I did it.idea.gif

Not to sound like a complete idiot ...:).. But i was wondering - with the guest have a zillion kids did you put 'and family', list them all or just fortunate enough to not have to worry about numberous "brady bunches" from my fiance's brothers....*sigh* Just curious.

Thanks,
Ines

LOL! I put will attend/will not attend too! My stationary lady said she would put reason: under will not attend, like who wouldn't want to go to a wedding in paradise? rofl.gif

I would should have put

will attend

too afraid of anyhting different

I agree about the sadness of the no's.

That is a good idea to fill in the names on the response card. I wish I would have done that, but I couldn't remember all of my cousin's kids' names! We invited a lot of families, but the problem is a lot had the same last name. When we got the reply cards back a lot of people didn't put address labels on the cards so we weren't sure who was who!

I did post card RSVP's for my STD's and on the back of the postcard I had my name and address printed from Vista Print in my design and I printed another set of address labels and put each persons return address right on there so there would be no confusion as from who it was from - I am soooo glad that I did this and I plan on doing the same for my invites!! Definatly worth the label cost!

We actually didn't really invite any kids. That's partly why I pre-filled the reply cards, so their was no confusion as to whether or not people's kids were included. We secretly were allowing my good friend to bring her two children if she wanted to and I did put their names on the reply card as well, but it doesn't look like they're going to be able to make it anyway. Sorry, I'm no help!
