I can not believe that I just saw this thread now, for the first time. Soo much to comment on.

 

Amy, Melissa thinks you look amazing, we all do, and so she was kidding, she could never hurt anyone. I am jealous as well, but you do work damn hard for it, so you deserve it.

 

Maria, so much to say, I really do hope that this was your year for bad things and the next several years will be perfect for you.

 

Now for the hard stuff,

 

Dear Ed (my BIL who passed away)

I hope you are up there watching your beautiful daughters grown up, it kills me to think you are missing this. Ava does things and I hear your laugh and see your smile, I hope its really you. Edea is beautiful I wish you got to meet her. I miss you.

 

Dear BDW, thank you for allowing my wedding to happen, without you FH would probably not want to marry me anymore because he would think I was crazy, thank god I have you to talk to. But please, don't let me get fired because I spend more time on here then I do doing work.

 

Dear job, I hate you, I wish the clients were not such assholes and I wish I cared a little more about you because I really really need the money.

 

Dear self, get our there and look for a better job. Try to relax more so the stress stops making your body do crazy things. You look good, no one will say you look fat in a swimsuit (just don't let them take pics of it).

 

Dear Friends who I thought were good friends, thank you for not coming to my shower or my stagette or my wedding even though I did all of those things for you and even hosted some of those events for you. Thank you for the $40 in a card when I spent $300 on your wedding gifts. Thank you for not putting in any effort at all for me when I bend over backwards for you.

 

Dear sister, I wish I could make all your troubles go away, I wish I could bring your husband back and I wish I could make you truly happy again. You have the most beautiful little girls on the planet and I wish you had any idea as to how strong a woman you are and how you are my hero and I can only hope to be such a great mom and strong person.

Julie, I almost started crying when I was reading what you wrote, mostly about your sister. She is so lucky to have you in her life and to help out with all of this. Things will get better but it's only been a little over a year so she has to take some time to adjust to it all and I am sure seeing the kids do things that look like him it makes her go through the entire mourning process again.

 

On a lighter note, your wedding is going to be amazing and you will be one hot tamale (hey remember your seamtress told you not to lose anymore weight)

I think I am actually really sad about this right now because Saturday is my sister's 1 year wedding anniversary, and she is celebrating with us instead of him and then next Wednesday is the 1 year anniversary of his death, so its a hard time right now and its on my mind a lot.

I am so lucky to have found you guys. I can't remember who posted this link on another forum, but you are my saviour and I love you, whoever you are.
