Boutonniere necessary?

I dont think theres anything wrong with that. Its more of a personal preference. Im not sure if we will have them either since we are not doing boquets.

we had boutonniere's (sp?) but Erik's bout lasted only for the ceremony...once we did our personnal pics it got distroyed...so he took it off and left it in a beer bottle on the beach...

 

My dad and Erik's dad lasted for awhile till they took it off...

 

I think we could have saved some money on these

I don't think we're going to use boutiniere's for anyone expect my Dad and FFIL. The guys will probably prefer NOT to have to wear them anyway. :-)

If your FI really doesn't want to wear it, don't buy them. You want him to be comfortable, as it is his wedding day too. He will look great without it.

Thanks for all of your answers girls! I don't care if FI wears one or not; I've just never been to a wedding where the guys didn't wear them (then again, I've never been to a DW!). It will save me almost $100 too...yeah!
