i did put a link to other hotels, but once ppl saw that they wouldn't be able to hang w/ us, they haven't said a word.

I'm going to do this too. Good idea! Should we put it somewhere on the invite or is that just to pushy?

do you mean on one of those papers w/ info that's included w/ the invite? i would, on the page that has accommodation info...i wouldn't put it in bold, of course, just leave it the same as the reg. font, but i'd also put in on a website in bold (if you have a website)....

What about our photographers -- who just booked at the resort next door.

So that's 2 photographers for 2 days.

I'm guessing teh day pass (and they'll need day and night for the wedding) will be about $60 each.

The assumption when booking her was that she would be staying 3 nights w/ us at our resort. Instead she and the second photographer are staying 5 nights at a less expensive resort next door.

How do we broach this subject with her? Or do I just assume that she knows that they are responsible for covering the day passes.

Ugh! What a pain this all is. First, I agree - if they want to stay somewhere else, then they need to know about and be responsible for the day pass.

With regard to the photog, I assume it is their choice where to stay. In that case, I would point out that you agreed to 3 nights at your resort - so figure out what the cost would have been and tell her that since she chose to do otherwise, you will pay $X (the equivalent of the three nights) for meals, accomodation, day passes, etc. and that any overruns will be her responsibility.

Unfortunately, they do charge.

The WC says $95 for 10am-6pm and $95 from 6pm-10pm. PRICEY!!! I'm going to try to negotiate.
