Getting married at Rose Hall Suites on 11/11/11

Jenn, she told me that father's names don't have to be on the birth certificates, I asked the same question.  I sent my legal documents to her and she received them in less than a week (from the US and cost about $50 with tracking).  Looks like we will be there around the same time, my wedding is 10/11, will be there thru the 15th.  Hope you are able to relax a little, I think in the end DW are less stressful, but at some times it just doesn't seem like it.

Hi Wendy - thank you, you just took my anxiety level from super high, to way down low. I am glad to hear that your papers got down quickly and safely. I am having mine notarized tomorrow, and sent down the day after by courier. It's nice to see someone getting married the same week as us! I may have to be sneaky and peek in at your ceremony to see what I am in for! Are you doing the beach ceremony or somewhere else? I think once I am down there I will be able to relax.

 

Ireyes - I chose based on a lot of reviews from tripadvisor, pictures, and by selecting 3 that my FI and I liked, giving the 3 selections to our bridal party and asking them which one they would go to if they could choose. They all chose IRHS. In the end, I wanted IRHS and FI wanted Riu Palace Tropical Bay but we decided that Iberostar had more to offer our guests as it seemed to have more activities and entertainment than Riu. You will never please everyone, so just choose based on what sounds good to you!

Glad I could relieve stress.  I'd recommend making sure you have tracking with your courier, just for peace of mind.  You are welcome to check out our wedding, I'd prefer it not be in front of the huppa during pics or the ceremony, but otherwise no problems!  We are planning to get married on the beach with the huppa instead of the arch.  We have a small group (8 people total) so it may look different if you are having a large group.  I have floating orchids to place behind the huppa and I'm debating about bringing a colored sheer for the huppa instead of the white.  I'm not planning to do extra flowers, the beach is beautiful enough.  My stress level is not too high for the wedding but my FI broke out 2 teeth and broke off 2 more over the weekend so we now have the stress of lots of dental work and some quick work to get rid of his empty spaces before we leave, which is 1mo from today!!!

Oh no wendy sorry to hear about your FI's dental issues, I sure hope it all goes by smoothly and quickly.

Yikes broken teeth before the wedding! My worst nightmare lol. I promise not to stand behind the huppa during the ceremony or pictures . We are also doing the beach with the huppa but we have chosen to add some extra flowers and fabric, as well as bright pink chair bows. We have about 45 people so a few more than you guys. We only expected about 25! I will definitely insure my documents through the courier as it would be awful if they don't make it down there. One month - so close!! Where are you doing your dinner? We have chosen Calabash - the gourmet restaurant and plan on renting the disco after as well.

Your group is much bigger than mine.  I thought we'd have a few more but it didn't work out.  We aren't doing a private reception (seems odd for 8 people), just dinner at one of the restaurants, I can't decide which one, so hard to pick when you haven't been to any of them.  I'm debating on fabric for the huppa, thinking fuschia would be nice.  I may peek in at yours to see a larger wedding; not behind the huppa though, I promise.

 

Much relief after visit to the oral surgeon and dentist.  He will have a temporary smile in 2 weeks, the long term solution (implants) will be a close to a year long project and series of oral surgeries.
