Yup.  That's the color she fell in love with.  I am in the process of making a seashell ring holder.  I told her she can be my "Bling Girl" and carry the shell with the rings - along with her boquet (that she requested to have sea shells in it).  More requests than a bride!

Getting married 6 months today...Oct. 26, 2011 at Dreams Palm Beach in Punta Cana. 27 guests confirmed. Most plans confirmed....working on program and welcome bag items now.

Hi Samantha and Tammy, 

 

It's so great to be able to connect with brides getting married at the same resort and in the same month. What are you doing for your receptions? I have about 50 guests so it looks like I will be planning a private venue. My dress should be in soon - getting very excited. Picked out the bridesmaid dresses - they will be wearing navy blue. Still need to get them ordered however. Invitation I am hoping to have out this weekend if everything goes according to plan and I am hoping to have the RSVPs back for July 1st. 

 

What about you ladies...where are you at with your planning. Have you made decisions regarding your cakes, flowers, etc. 

 

Can't wait to hear about all your plans.

Wow really - I sent the STDs out in January 2010 and responses back by November 2010 - everyone had to have their deposits down for the trip no later than March 31, 2011.

Hi ChristaMichelle - There are only 9 of us so far so we will be going to one of the al a cartes don't know which one yet.... I've had all the choices through from Mara, I haven't made any choices yet, I think she said we've got 2 months until the wedding to decide....  
 

Picked bridesmaid dress they are topaz blue with an ivory sash....

 

Picked my dress..... Got a few ideas for flowers and I have picked the cake but I haven't confirmed it with Mara yet.....

 

Sorting out FI's suit in June.  How long will you be at the resort?  We are arriving on 16th Oct getting married on 25th Oct and leaving on 30th October so we are there for 2 weeks.....
