I think to stay true to his familiy traditions, we may exchange the engagement rings at our legal ceremony and then exchange the wedding bands at our DW.
That's cute....i never thought to buy my honey an engagement ring!!

This is something I have been wondering about since I have been reading on the forums about some questions about weddings on a Sunday at some resorts. Because of this we have been discussing having our pastor at our church do a private ceremony and then have a symbolic ceremony at our DW. This way we are married in NJ but still have the wedding we want.

I think that you should do it whichever way you want to do it. As the ladies have told me - "it's your wedding, do what makes you happy."
