Personally I don't want to do that either. There's something wrong about giving your information & paying to get your details removed.

I have started to remove my name from the source, wherever possible. I've removed a Hi5 account; now it just says "This user is no longer a member of hi5." I've changed my Amazon.ca name so far and next is Flixter.

Yikes, It gave my phone number, address, my work phone number and email address, And listed a few spedding tickets from a few years ago. This is NOT ok

Thanks for the heads-up! I just changed my BDW username because I was being harassed by vendors I had used because I had posted some negative experiences. I guess they can still find me thru that pipl.com site... boo!!! I'm kinda nervous to look up my name on there! Another bonus of taking my DH's last name

Wow, how crazy! Luckily my name is pretty common and I share the same name as some American politician, so she comes up much more often than me! Only my old Classmates.com profile came up and my FI's old myspace account which he doesn't even remember creating!
