THanks
Diana did our photos as well. She was more than I expected. She took over 300 photos and complied with every request made of her. I cannot post pictures on here for some reason but this is a link to some of my photos on youtube.

I know someone already mentioned Stacey Clarke on here, and I'd recommend her. I've booked her for our wedding in May, and she has been absolutely accommodating and very quick at responding to all of my millions of questions. I've seen many other brides on here who've used her services and their pictures are absolutely stunning. Here is her website:

Destination Wedding Photography

FYI, I booked her for both photography and videography and our entire package is $1500USD. Her rates are the most reasonable that I came across when I was doing my research and with her quick replies and friendly service, on top of all of the other glowing references I got from brides on this forum, I had absolutely no reservations booking her immediately. Hope this helps =)

We are following islandbrides317 idea, (thanks islandbride317) we will purchase some pictures from Sandals but the majority of our pictures & our TTD session will be from our outside photographer. We are using Frank Panaro out of Miami, Frank has done several weddings in Jamaica and knows his way around the island. Another bride on the forum has used him which is why i researched him.

Check out his website Miami Wedding Photographers – Frank Panaro Photography and Video

We are on a tight budget but his prices are good and he provides you with references and external links to additional pictures. I hope this helps some.
Aaawww, you're so welcome, Cynthia!!! I'm glad you thought the idea made as much sense for you and your wedding, as we felt it did for ours! I checked out Frank's site, and I'd say you've made a fantastic decision -- his work is beautiful! wink.gif

Hope everyone else is finding equally-wonderful luck fulfulling your photography needs!

Hi Folks

We have Jamie Dimitry as our photographer in Jamaica on January 7th for our ceremony and reception and on January 9th for trash the dress. If anyone is interested in using Jamie during other days of the week and would like to split travel costs, please contact both of us (also his great work can be found here - http://www.jamiedimitry.com/).  He has worked closely with Michael Steingard and Phil Steingard, who are legendary with their photography work for destination weddings in Dominican.

I highly recommend Dean Clarke. We paid about $1800. He showed up at about 2pm (4:00pm wedding) and stayed til at least 8-9pm to cover our reception. We love the images and we got the full rights to our pics. He's got a website if you google dean clarke photography and I have a post with some of the pics he took here :http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/72888/villa-weddings-brides-jamaica/70#post_1809088

I just had my wedding at Moon Dance Cliffs in Negril.  We chose Brian Nejedly for the ceremony and TTD the following day.  Brian is great.  He is originally from Atlanta, but has lived in Ocho Rios for 12 years.  He showed up at the resort about 1 hour before the ceremony and stayed through the reception.  He was welcomed into our group immediately, which made the photo session between the ceremony and reception so much fun.

He picked us up from the resort the next morning at 9 am and we headed out for the TTD photos.  Since he is very familiar with the area and the people, he knows exactly where he can get the best shots.  We ended up on the beach, then down in a cave, and finally over to a small local bar for some awesome shots with bar owner and his puppies! Brian is super friendly, professional and has a way of making you feel very comfortable while he is shooting.

Overall, I think he took nearly 700 photos.  It is so hard to choose which ones to order because they are all truly amazing.

You should have no doubts about using Brian as your wedding photograher.  His prices are more than reasonable and the final product is fabulous.  He has some incredible photos on his facebook, Brian Nejedly, including some of mine, please check him out.
