Congrats!! Hopefully by then, all the quirks of the wedding issues will no longer be an issue. Be patient. Everyone who has been to the resort has great feedback about it. Welcome to the group :-)

I've been reading on trip advisor that the walls at Dreams are very thin. Actually we experienced this too but were not bothered by it. Regardless, we want don't want our guests to have to deal with it if any of them are light sleepers. So, my thought was to include some earplugs in the welcome bag. I would guess most people wont use them, but thought this would be one less thing we have to hear people complain about. Ha! I'm really worried about some people having complaints. Just wondering if anyone else had thought about doing this. It looks like most options of earplugs come in a pack and are not individually wrapped. Any ideas on how to individually wrap those myself? I thought I would also include a little note...something like this - "So that you can relax completely, wear these earplugs while resting"

The columns are pretty wicked too because they do the lighting inside the colums with whatever you colors are (in my case blue). Now she's just sending me some variation designs on their lounge furniture to go around the dance floor but its looking pretty swank - I'm loving it. As for communication - GIRL she is fabulous! Super nice, super professional and very prompt. She gives great feedback too whenever I ask for an honest opinion. Here's the kicker though - her name is Ana too hee hee.
Thats great to hear so funny, you and I have the same idea. I already went thru a different vendor to get chiavary chairs, and she does pomanders, so I am get 6 to 8 rose pomanders that I was going to flip over as centre peices, I think that is what you meant as well. Fire dancers? can we go thru someone rather than Ana for this? that would be greats cause her quote of USD 800 for 20 min. is yikes!

I went on their website and emailed one of the guys, hope to hear back soon. Do you have Ana's email? I didnt see any specific emails on the site just some pictures and bios of staff. Thanks

I'm going to book the ultimate package and need gold menu, cakes, pictures - basically everything since I'm just getting started. Thanks sooooo much! smile124.gif
I've sent you what she sent me. Hope it helps!

Is anyone else getting extremely frustrated with Ana. I know how busy she is but I think I have only emailed her two or three times when I first booked. Now that I am upgrading my package so won't email me back!! I have sent her like 3 emails in the past month and not received a single response. I am jealous of you girls that did recently!!!

Do any of you know if we have the choice for Juan Navarro still for the ceremony photography? It seems like the recent weddings have all been shot by Adventure Photos. Thanks!

If you are using the photographer that comes with the package, you have to use Adventure Photos. They are the photographers that are located at the resort. You also cannot substitute anything (including video) for the photography included in the package. Ana told me that the resort management wants their photographers only to be used for the packages but that they do not restrict other photographers because they know that photography is important for the brides. So, you could probably hire Juan Navarro on your own for your pictures, but that would be all on you and not included in the package. The Adventure Photos photographers are really great though!!
