One & Only Palmilla

Please any reviews on the O&O? This is at the top of my choices for my wedding but do not see anything about it on the forum...

 

I just love the Capilla there, any info, reviews, suggestions, prices, extras anyone could give me would greatly help me!!!

 

I am going to Cabo in August to visit a few resorts!!!

Its Gorgeous but pricey as would be expected of such a lux resort. From others I have talked to just renting out the different facilities can be $25,000, but one poster on a trip advisor website (below) says she was able to have a wedding for 70  with a Mexican buffet on the beach, wedding cake, and after party at the Aqua Bar for $35k with her room. So its doable if this is accurate.

I think if you end up with the One and Only, guest staying there will be very impressed but most will be unable to afford it (especially after travel). This means youll have to offer other accommodation suggestions as well as providing them with transport to and from the ceremony/reception. You will most likely have to do this with any location you choose, as its unlikely all your guest will stay in the same place. However if you are dreaming of a hotel/resort reception were your guest will feel free to enjoy themselves until the party ends late in the night then a more affordable location will be more convienient. Also, if more guest are staying in one place it will be easier for them to attend extras you might throw like an post ceremony brunch!

 

I dont mean to convince you to choose somewhere else, as The One and Only is fabulous, but if youre wanting to do a little more with your money or are on an already tight budget you might take these suggestions to consideration. I myself, was thinking of having my wedding at the O&O but after thinking about it long and hard I can do so much more for my guests if I save money through a different venue.  Afterall there are so many beautiful places in Cabo (with basically the same view) but at a much more affordable price tag. Even some private villas are more affordable!

 

Whatever you choose Im sure your wedding will be exactly what you have always dreamed! Just thought Id offer my two cents. Hope it helps!
