Cabo newbie, hello!

My name is Erika and my fiance is Walter. We are getting married June 12 (25 days!) on Pedregal Beach. We are using Baja Weddings (Jo Ann has been great!) and I'm having my hair/make-up done by Suzanne Morel.

Right now we are in crisis mode waiting for passports!

I contacted my senator and congressman yesterday, no response. Passport services can only show it as 'processing' and advised hopefully it will be here on time or I'll have to get to Houston (not close!) with Walter and hope we get one at the last minute! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :-)

Hey Erika, welcome to the forum!! Woohoo - the 25 day countdown, that's really exciting! Once we've got your passport problem sorted out you should post your engagement story.

 

But - onto the passport issue... this member started this thread because she was leaving in a WEEK and still didn't have her FI's passport - and the good news: they got it on time!! There was some pretty good info in this thread:

Welcome! The pedegral sounds wonderful. Are you renting a villa? I hope everything gets worked out with you and the passport situation. That really sucks that you don't have it yet.

Hi Erica,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations! Good luck with your passport issue--my sister was able to get a response by visiting the passport office who serviced her county. Sounds like you're on top of it but another option if you haven't already tried this.

Best of luck to you and your wedding. There are some women who had the same issue of passport stressing and it turned out for the best. Keep calling them and if you have to go to them and pick it up.
