If I lose 20 lbs...

Recommended Posts

I would say it depends but a professional should be able to alter any style dress. I lost 35 pounds for my wedding and my dress (if I may say so) was stunning! I knew I needed to lose but also did not want to wait too long to buy a dress and not have it come in in time, so I fitted myself at the weight I was knowing I would lose the weight. I altered onemonth before my wedding

I think yours will be easy to alter. I plan on losing about another 20lbs and you look similar to my size so depending on where you lose weight I think it wouldn't be that bad.

i know DB told me they only alter down 2 sizes, but they will do more, but it'll cost more. Altering really becomes an issue when there is alot of detail and lace.

I also second joing Biggest Loser 6. The sign in deadline is actually next tuesday. its $15 and who ever loses the highest percentage wins. I joined last season for the money, and really ended up enjoying the support and motivation from the other girls more than caring about the money and came in 2nd. Although i've been enjoying myself the last couple weeks and have DEFINITELY gained. BL6 I have to lose to fit my ass into my dress! Here is the thread, its soooooo worth it! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t39768
