Canadian PV Dreams Brides-Have you booked for late 2009?

I'm wondering how many brides going to Dreams later this year have booked already?! Are you getting good prices on all inclusive packages? I'm just interested in comparing where you are in regards to getting deposits etc...My wedding is the end of Nov..I am only getting quotes now and figuring out how much it will cost for guests outside of Canada to go to PV.

Hi there! I'm from Winnipeg and I'd also like to get married at Dreams in late November. I'm getting quotes now and checking on November availqbility for a wedding with the resort and I will likely book within the next few weeks. I can't wait!!!!

Hey Ladies!

 

I am getting married much earlier in the year, but I think it would be helpful for you to check out the Dreams PV Thread-- http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t29192

 

There are many other DBs that are getting married in Nov. at the Dreams PV and they're all fantastic and VERY helpful! That way you can get a feel for what other DWBs and Gs are paying for their vacay packages.

 

I would also recommend checking out atleast four or five different TAs so that you can barter with each one. November will be pricey, but you should be able to find a good deal by 'playing the field.'

lol, I should have picked a different screen name! My name is actually Sarah, not Katie. My middle name is Katherine and my grandma used to call me katiegirl so it just popped into my head when I had to choose a screen name.

 

Anyway, it doesn't matter to me at all which day we get married. It will be just the two of us! Also, it will be a symbolic ceremony as we will be married legally in Canada a few days before we leave.

 

So really, any day works! I emailed the wedding co-ordinator at Dreams to ensure that they will be able to accomodate us before I book the trip and she hasn't gotten back to me yet.

Oh shoot... I just realized by reading the other thread that American Thanksgiving is this week and the resort is expected to be full. This may change my wedding plans, I'd rather be there during an "off" time. Maybe early December or January? Ugh.
