Low Carb?

Recommended Posts

I ate chicken every night last week and had yogurt and fruit in the mornings and lots of fruits and veggies all week...I lost just over a pound and didn't work out except for one day!

I liked lo carb because I LOVE sugar and doing this I couldn't have it, so it was a good restriction.

the only problem I have every time I do it, is that after about a week or I start to have trouble going to the bathroom. I think its because of the lack of fiber, does anyone have a solution for this?? (sorry if its TMI)

Other than that I like the lo carb diet because the pounds just melt away!
Lettuce---- lots of green veggies...

By not eating the main four (bread, potatoes, pasta, and the fourth one which I always forget) he can eat all of the other carbs that a normal person eats, but he stays very skinny. He's been doing this for about 8 years now and is in great shape. Because I live with him, I'm sort of forced to live a similar diet. I must say, after not eating pasta for two years, I can no longer eat it. It hurts my stomach really bad. It's just too much food.
does he eat sugar?

I usually do eat a lot of salads and veggies (especially broccolli and cauliflower), maybe I just have to limit my intake of cheese. I usually end up eating cheese in the mornings because I don't usally have time to make eggs, and theres not many other breakfast options.

He eats A LOT of sugar. I mean, A LOT. I swear the kid should be 300 pounds... but he's not, and I really think it's because he chooses to leave out the big carbs so that he can eat the rest.

Make sure you eat enough fiber. Have you tried Kashi bars? They are really good, 2 WW points (if you're doing that too) and should solve your problem. I learned the hard way. I ate 2/day for 3 days....

I've done the Suzanne Sommers diet for about 4-5 years and have really liked it. It eliminates the bad carbs (white flour, sugars) while being able to eat the good carbs (whole wheat, brown rice).

I am addicted to pasta, so could not think of giving up carbs all together.

It has been an easy one for me to stick to, plus I feel a lot healthier. My fiance is pre-diabetic, and so it works well for him also.

I am glad I am not the only one doing their own variation of this....

I hate breakfast food, so I usually just eat a string cheese or something. Ya, real healthy, right?

Today was day 2 and I did good! smile159.gif
