honestly tho, i know the ol' clock is ticking and all, but we will need to be looking for a house (no way we could raise a baby in that tiny apartment of ours) and my fiance will still have over a year of (full-time) school left, meaning we'll only have my salary to work with for awhile (and that's not much). so the timing isn't quite right for us yet, ya know?

hey just noticed that you are 37, so you're probably going thru the same pressures i am LOL. do you have any children or would this be your first?

if the timing is right for you and you both want it, i say go for it!
That's so Funny, My FMIL says that after we get married I am signing a contract that says I will give her a grandchild in 1 year! LOL She is really serious and really grandbaby hungry as well.
I would like to enjoy our first year Married, plus we want to work on buying a house. However..After the wedding, we'll stop trying to "not" get pregnant and let whatever is meant to be, Be :-)

I am so glad I found this thread...I thought that my fiancee was the only one that wanted to start trying before the wedding!

I'm a bit torn because I also want to enjoy a bit of bubbly at the wedding and not have to worry. I may not get pregnant right away, but I don't think I want to take the chance. We'll see.... for now I'm still convincing him to keep things safe...

Lisa I'm the same as you lol will be nearly 37 by the time we get married. FI will then be going to somewhere hot for 6 months straight after we get back lol

We've had a chat about it, ie I unplugged his ps2 and demanded he talked to me lol, and he said he didn't want one before the wedding! I said i'm good but not that good lmao

So we've agreed on our 1st anniversary we'll start trying but i'm nearly be 38!!! I made him shake on it but i had my fingers crossed so i'm giving him 6 months lmfao I need to save enough cash so that I can take time off from work after the baby is born!

As for FMIL she said last year I'd love a new grandkid! My reply was why don't you spend time with the 3 you already have lmao She neededn't think she is just "popping" up to mine lol

I just won't be able to enjoy any alcohol.
On my honeymoon with no alcohol, I may have to rethink this one! LOL!!!

I did not have one. I did not want one. I made sure I was first in line for my depo shot....LOL. My friend had one. She said that it was a blessing, but it was also too much all at once.

Our first anniversary past in August 2008. So, we are planning to try in August 2009. We (hopefully) will have a second anniversary baby.

My last depo shot is February 2009. I am not looking forward to the side effects. =(

We are not going to try for a "weddingmoon" baby....for myself personally, I want to be with just my FI for the first couple years of marriage before I have a baby. Plus the way the economy is right now, I am scared sh**less about being able to afford having a child! sad.gif
