Ceremony Program Fans

Hi there, I am planning on making programs fans for my ceremony. These will be in a 6 x 6 square shape, with about 1/2 inch of cardstock (in my wedding colors) as a border. I've seen the online companies that make these, and they don't look that hard...but i'm having a hard time finding the nice sticks. Popsicle sticks are OK...but the sticks that the professionals use, seem larger, wider and have some detail.

Has anyone made these themselves? Would you have photo's? And would you know where I could find the good sticks?

did you try home depot or any craft store...I think Bamboo would be an awesome idea it will make it look natural and beachy

Yeah I was thinking Home Depot. I know they have the paint sticks there, and you can see if they could cut them or shape them to the size you want.
