Dreams PV Bride

Hi everyone,

I'm new here so I thought I'd introduce myself. We're getting married 10-12-07 at Dreams Puerto Vallarta. I'm so glad I found this site - there's so much good information on here! We're in the process of searching for a photographer, and we're considering hiring a wedding coordinator. I can't decide if I think we really need one, but I feel like if we don't, the 3 or 4 days before our wedding will be filled with all of the wedding planning instead of relaxing on the beach and enjoying the city. What are you all doing??

Welcome!!! It seems like you have already got the basics down, which is fantastic! How long have you been engaged for? As for the WC, could you not just use the one that the resort provides with the package? I'll definately be using a WC, I don't want to spend my week before my wedding stressing about the small stuff when someone else can!!!!

Welcome to the forum, glad you found it. I'm at PV bride as well and getting married in October too!! 2 days before you, actually (10 10 07). What time are you thinking of having your ceremony at? I hear it's still hot in the evening... but I don't know if I can change the time. Would love to hear more detials and see some pictures.

Welcome, Amy is our Dreams PV moderator. I don't think she is getting a WC but she did consider it. I think the coordinator at the resort can be difficult to get in touch with as she is super busy with so many brides, but she does eventually get back to you as I have heard.

The deal with the WC is that if you feel like you want someone to do all the outside vendors for you then it might be a good idea, but a lot of brides on this site have managed without.

I am sure Amy will give you better info, she will probably check in later tonight or tomorrow.

Welcome! I think it depends how many people you'll be having & how simple or not so simple you want your wedding to be. You can find a lot of information here on vendors and get a lot of questions answered, if you're having a smaller group a wc may not be necessary
