I am kind of confused as to exactly what i should be doing right now. I requested my date and received confirmation which they later changed on me.I was told that there was an availabilty for the next day but have yet to get my confirmation number. I am thinking of doing the free package but just adding on some extras like the disco and a dj. I was also looking at the Royal package. What is the real difference between the 2. Can you book a semi-private dinner with the free package or do I have to upgrade? Iam expecting around 30 guests and i definitely want a sit down dinner and a reception afterwards. I have heard people talk about Mamee Bay and the Plantation. What is the difference? Also when can I actually book the disco and restaraunt?? What if more than one bride want them? I am so confused....should I be requesting them this early?

Hi And Gradulations To You ,,ive Read Your Post Im Getting Married At Ror On August 18 08, Log On The Ror Website And Click On The Wedding Archive And Read The Packages Thenyou Can Cmpare The Packages And The Prices. Im Doing The Free Wedding Package I Have 23 Guest Attending ,you Can Also Upgrade Once You Arrive And Speak To Your Wedding Planner (chandlyn) Also You Can Email Them For Your Confirmation Number Or Have Your Travel Agent Call There And Get It For You , To Save On The Long Didtsnt Call. From Ther They Will Email You The Confirmation Number , You Would Have Then Log On The Site And Enter It.. I Had A Simular Situation..

I would suggest going with the free package and just adding on the extra stuff b/c Mammee Bay- semi private- is included in all the packages.

Most people take the free package and upgrade the things they want (flowers, photography etc). The Mammee is a semi private reception and I have heard its very nice. You can also do the plantation as well but I think its fairly pricey.
If you rent the disco, its something like 9-11 and then open to the rest of the hotel after that.
They schedule three weddings (at the most i think) per day so maybe its first come first serve for disco - you would have to check with ones that have been married for that.
