Oh yeah - I forgot to say...the M&M rep told me that the oil stuff was some of the stuff in the shiny shell. She said that the quality control office was contacted - THEN she had the nerve to tell me, "Well you're basically getting 4 bags for free." I said, "No - that's not true. I wouldn't dare give those first bags to anyone - they aren't even edible! I am getting what I paid for, and the oily mess from first ones has literally left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't even want them anymore."

She said, 'Well we don't want you to feel that way, that's why we are rushing the next order to you so you can see that your satisfaction is our top priority...yadda...yadda...yadda...

We'll see what happens next as the M&M saga continues......... (These are some M&M's who happily made it out of the oil pit) HA HA!

I think I better get some stuff done around here today, and then I have to run over to my Mom's and maybe I will finish the bathbombs and soaps today. Then I will take pics of them and post. I have to get my Mom's camera out of my Dad's truck so I can get the pics of the fondant seashells for the wedding cake too.

That is funny. I didn't have my digital camera camping but Mom did. When I went over there yesterday, I asked for her camera, but she left it in the truck when she came back from the campground, and my Dad was at work. I will get it today though!!!

Well i was being a bad girl and checked my registries today to see if i can figure when my shower is. And there was a few things purchased on them. So i'm thinking my invites must of went out!!! So my shower is probably in September. Woohoo! so i guess i have to look good every weekend for the next month.

I just hung up from my OBGYN and she is going to give me some free samples of Birth Control pills to keep me "regular" until the wedding! WOO HOO!

 

I am SO PUMPED!! I am just scared for the side effects. I quit taking the pill because it made me crazy. Hopefully 2 months won't mess with me too bad. I guess on the plus besides not having a period during the wedding - clear skin is always an extra bennie!

 

Hey Danielle - we need some new pics from you too girl! Speaking of registries - Shawn and I HAVE to register on Saturday morning or Sunday. We are just going to register at Bed Bath and Beyond. We have a lot already, but new stuff is nice - plus I want a floor scrubber! I bought a carpet cleaner last week because it couldn't wait.

Oh yeah - our invites went out and people already got them - like I sent them out Tuesday and they got them yesterday! One of the Chief's I work for said he got his and said the invite was beautiful and our hotel was amazing! He must have went on line and checked it out. Isn't it great to hear those compliments?? As brides we put so much work into the whole thing. It is very rewarding to hear the feedback.

 

It is all starting to feel VERY real. I am getting anxious and nervous at the same time!

So I was up late lastnight but I got a bunch of stuff done on the welcome books. I printed off all the pages I could, since some of them I will need to wait to know the final count. I cut out the pages and some of the cardstock that I am making the books out of.

 

Larry's mom has finally decided to book too, and will be dropping by later to give me her deposit. We have 2 guests that swtiched Airlines do to their schedules, and if we don't find someone to fill their spots, they lose their deposits. The TA won't transfer the deposits to the other 2, so I am passing the $ on for it.

I am going for my first dress fitting tonight! Yay! I went shopping the other night to look at the Spanx, but when I tried them on it didn't make me look any different. I think I was hoping for some kind of miracle! Like I walk into the fitting room, put on some spanx and walk out looking like Heidi Klum! Ha ha! So I decided that I will probably just have the boob cups sewn in so I don't have to worry about a bra. I could probably get away with a regular one, but I don't want to have to worry about straps, etc. I found some cute panties at Victoria's Secret. One say Bride to Be on them and the others are just blue. I figured that will take care of my something blue then. I also found another pair of earrings (this is now the 3rd pair!), but I think I like these the best. I'm going to bring the jewelry with so I can try it on with my dress to make sure it looks alright.

That is so exciting Michelle. It is also scary to think that we are close enough now that everyone is startng their dress fittings! EEEKKKK!!!!

I was supposed to have my first dress fitting tonight too. But my dress was held up in Canada, so now I'm getting my dress today. I AM SO EXCITED to see it. but also nervous that it won't fit. i will obviously be trying it on tonight!!!!!

 

weird about you M&Ms. My mom ordered some for us and she said they turned out so cute. I'm still not sure how i'm going to get them to mexico though
