Aisle of flowers...looking for pictures

Recommended Posts

I am looking for inspiration pictures for my WC. I have been searching for 2 days and for some reason I just can't find what I am looking for but I know it is out there smile105.gif

Does anyone, especially photogs, have any pictures of a ceremony aisle of white flowers, but saturated so that you can't really see the sand or grass underneath?

I really want to find a pic with white orchids saturated and then a saturated border of dark pink orchids but I would take anything at this point LOL!

Orchids? Omygosh - that will cost about 5 million dollars won't it?

Okay - so I don't have what you are talking about but I do have a suggestion. I have photographed lots of weddings with the aisle covered in rose petals. But...by the time the bride comes down the aisle, the petals have been trampled by all of the guests and they are not looking so great.

So...I don't know if it's really possible to do so or if it would be tacky - but it would be great if the flowers/petals could be scattered just before the bride walks down.

Orchids in Cabo are $25 per flower...hopefully they're cheaper in Hawaii

I have exactly what you're looking for - I shot a wedding on the Big Island this fall and my bride used white orchids to completely cover the aisle (her guests entered from the sides, so the flowers weren't trampled when she walked down)

I'll dig up a couple of photos for you - but in the meantime you can check out their slideshow here (there are several ceremony shots): Autumn Burke Hawaii Wedding

HTH!

OOH Alyssa, please please share your vendor! I'd love to do something like this at my beach ceremony!! I didn't even think about it cause I thought they were so pricey! But DUHR! It's Hawaii!
