Time of day for ceremony

I'm just wondering what time of day is best to have my ceremony.

I would do a search as there are already a number of threads on this - we are getting married at 3:30 as the sun sets at 5:30 at that time of year and we wanted to ensure we had time for pictures!

We're doing it at 5 since the sun is still out at that time and it's cooled down a bit.

Like the girls said above, alot will depend on the sunset. My photograher recommends two to three hourse before sunset so you can allow enough time to take pictures. I am doing mine at 5pm also.

Hi there,

I would recommend to book your ceremony around 3pm or 3:30pm.

I will be shooting the wedding at the Majestic Colonial Resort in Punta Cana on November 24th and the bride booked her ceremony at 3pm.

The sunset is around 5:30pm and I think you need at least 1.5 hour for all of your photographs.

A photographer I am considering suggested 4 or 4:30 for optimal light!

My WC suggested 5:00 also...cocktails at 6 and reception at 7
