but what are you supposed to do with it after your wedding??  I get it has sentimental value, but I'll never wear it again (at least not out of the house).  And let's be honest, how many daughters want to wear their mother's dress???

Lol. I love the disclaimer about not wearing it outside of the house! :) I can absolutely see myself Putting it on after the wedding for a little mood boost!

Beautiful pictures, I love your work!  Are there many brides that have a second dress for the TTD session?  I'm thinking of getting something cheaper for a TTD session (like a lot cheaper, lol).

Hi! I saw that comment and thought it was pretty funny! I guess you either like the trash the dress idea or you don't! Since most of my weddings are either at historic Mexican haciendas or on the beach I have found that the dress tends to get a little trashed anyway in the natural course of the wedding day's events. (and have you ever seen a dance floor after the wedding is over? not exactly the cleanest place!)

I love to photograph the "day after" sessions because it is such a good chance to photograph without any pressure of being in a hurry, and keeping makeup or dress perfect. Going in the water is just a little extra bonus!

Here are a few images of some of my wonderful brides and couples.love.gif: Can you tell it was fun to TTD?

best,

Elizabeth

My fiance and I will be doing a TTD on our honeymoon in October. We didn't have a traditional wedding so I have no dress to "trash" yet - any ideas on the best styles/materials for these shoots? Since I have the option to get one specifically for the shoot I think I can get a little more creative but I still want it to feel "bridal" - suggestions?

Hey, just thought I would share my TTD photos from our wedding at Dreams Tulum on March 31st. We had Krista Fox of Verve Photography in Toronto come with us and she was absolutely fabulous, check out the one of us completely underwater in the cenote! I didn't go too far in the ocean with my dress instead we went in the cenotes and my full tulle dress wasn't wrecked at all, in fact it got alot cleaner after, and dried really nice just hanging to dry. I would recommend a fuller skirt for TTD if you are really into the TTD photos, we were able to do so much with it! These are just a few of the wonderful shots from our session.

Wendy, you're pictures are BEAUTIFUL!! I love that a lot of them are on "dry land" - I don't know how to swim and frankly the ocean terrifies me a bit - I'm happy to see we can still get awesome pictures without jumping in the ocean! Thanks for posting them! cheesy.gif
