Hi! I saw that comment and thought it was pretty funny! I guess you either like the trash the dress idea or you don't! Since most of my weddings are either at historic Mexican haciendas or on the beach I have found that the dress tends to get a little trashed anyway in the natural course of the wedding day's events. (and have you ever seen a dance floor after the wedding is over? not exactly the cleanest place!)

I love to photograph the "day after" sessions because it is such a good chance to photograph without any pressure of being in a hurry, and keeping makeup or dress perfect. Going in the water is just a little extra bonus!

I totally agree with Elizabeth !

 

It was fun to do especially that my husband is such a shy person. He just love doing it the next day when no one was around ! Not to forget that they make the most original and beautiful pictures to show off to friends and family !

Awesome point about the dress getting dirty at the actual wedding anyways. I haven't seen a bride leave a wedding with a pristine white gown.

These are the kinds of pictures they should show when they do pieces about TTD. They always show more disturbing ones. If they had something like this, I think people would get it.

 

I don't know Vera Wang, but I saw her one celebrity apprentice last week & I think she would like TTD. She loves something unique & creative.
