Destination Wedding, Celebration Party at home

Recommended Posts

We are planning our March 2014 Wedding in Mexico and then a celebration back home for those that can't make it. Anyone we invite is invited to both, but I know many folks won't be able to join us in Mexico and we still want to celebrate with them back at home.

I am curious about the wording on the Save the Date card.  I was thinking of going with

Save the Dates:

Wedding in Mexico

Date

Celebration in Chicago

Date

Formal Invitation to Follow

Anyone have any thoughts on this?  Is it odd to ask them to save the dates instead?

Cute! I think that is a great way to handle it. And yes, you can totally ask guests to save the dates!
