Where do you seat the videographer?

We are considering hiring a videographer to have a keepsake of the wedding. He's gonna cost us a pretty price! His package will be around $1400 plus $300 resort fee and I'll most likely have to buy him fiber at the reception too bc I want him to capture the speeches. I've asked a few people attending if they'd film the wedding but no one is comfortable enough to handle that task. Plus it wouldn't be fair I'd like my guests to relax and enjoy the wedding. If you have hired a photographer or videographer, who did you seat them with? Did they have their own smaller table off to the side? Suggestions?

Hey, the photographer and videographer at my wedding had their own table to the side.  They were out of they way and I don't think anyone noticed they were there. Usually you will have to pay for a meal for them.

Ok! That's what I thought too. I was foolishly planning where to seat him in the reception, but I wouldn't be expected to! lol Thanks again!
