Grand Riviera Princess Brides

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies! I am getting married at the GRP in October 2013 (YAI!). We have chosen to our ceremony at the Sunset Gazebo and our reception on the beach. We will be having the American Grill menu. Do any of you lovely ladies have any tips and tricks for this resort? Any comments (good or bad)? We are traveling w/ a group of ~50.

We haven't decided on a cake yet. Do any of you have any pics of the cake that you choose, and would recommend?

For our favours, we are getting those floating lanterns. Has anyone done this before? We will also be getting travel mugs as they are usually a big hit.

Congratulations on your engagement lfortt !! The Grand Riviera Princess is a great property! I would recommend booking the Platinum suites if you haven't already, they are much closer to the beach at the back of the resort, quiet and have their own (small) pool and lounge area. The Sunset Gazebo is GORGEOUS! And not to mention more private than having your ceremony right on the beach, with on lookers...

In regards to the floating sky lanterns, make sure you check with your onsite coodinator to make sure they will allow them, and this is a great post about the the skylanterns,
