I decided to make my own planning thread since I have been reading so many. And everyone of them are so helpful!

I put my Welcome bags together so far, and I'm so excited for everyones reactions!

39 more days till we leave!!!!

 

This is what I have so far

 

The thing wrapped in raffia is a sarong with my wedding colors! From Avon

 

Aloe Gel, Antibactirial Gel,2 SPF Lip Balm and mini nail files all from Avon, pretty much FREE. Because I ordered them when I had big orders

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fans from a chinese store $0.60 each! Thank You tages $3.00 for 20

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These will be on the chairs at the wedding

I do not have a big group traveling with me, so I only had to make up 12 bags. 1 of them is a Men's traveling case. Its for my Fiance's brother, as he is traveling with his son. I figured he did not want to carry around a colorful beach bag!

 

Bags from Dollerama $2.00 each .They even zip up! 

So all the Avon stuff was pretty much FREE

Lifesavers from Walmart $2.50 bag of 50

Aveeno lotion, Tylenol,Aleeve FREE also! my sisters friends mom works in a Dr. office and got them for me!

Pepto box of 48 for $9 (walmart)

Tissue packs 8 for $1.50 (walmart)

Sarongs were $8 each and I bought them for just my wedding party and mom. Then they went on sale for $2.99 so I had to get them for all the ladies!

Dad's Oatmeal Cookies Box of 10 for $1.50 on sale! They do not expire till March

Granola bars box of 8 (3 boxes for $5!)

As you can see I'm a bargin hunter!!!!

 

Hair bling is only for the MOH and BM

In the organza bag is Soleless Sandals that I made. I will have to post a better picture.

 

So all in all I pretty much only spent about $15-$20 each bag! woo hoo

I still really want to add a travel mug, but I haven't decided yet. As funds are getting low.

 

We also have 2 kids!

I finally ordered the gifts for MH, BM,Flower girl, my mom, and his mom yesterday!

I got them from etsy, and can't wait to see them

These are the centerpieces I am making up. The hotel package only included silk flowers, which I hate!

So I said I would bring my own

I ordered starfish from ebay. 2"-3" and when I got them they were smaller then I expected. None of them were 3 inches. I was not happy.

So had to go back on ebay and order more. This time I ordered 4"-5" and they are bigger then I expected! lol But they will work

 

I ended up making tags for the small starfish and using them as place cards. I am not doing a seating chart, I just figure people will sit where they want to.

WHere did you get the thank you tags from??? Those are great! So are the fans...where in Ontario are you? Toronto? I need those too. LOL!

Im actually from Cambridge The tags were from a store called Creative Bags in Missisauga, and the fans are from a store in the same parking lot!

I do not know the name of it but, I have the address

Seems a lot of people know about this place because it was quite busy! But that was my first time there

Definatly a good deal! A friend of mine that also had a destination wedding told me about it
