Need help with wording re:guests not having to bring gift to the dest wedding but we will accept them? haha

i'm having trouble with wording for my website. i want to let guests know that are coming to the wedding that they don't need to bring a gift since they are already spending so much to come. however, for the other people who can't make it and friends/family who want to get us something, i need to put the registry up. any suggestions on how to explain this situation? Thanks!!!

This is what I said on our website:  Where are we registered?  We are not. Your gift to us is your presence, whether in person or in spirit.  We understand that not everyone will be able to make it to Exuma to celebrate at the wedding with us.  We have invited you because it is important to us that we have your love, support and happiness as we begin our journey together as husband and wife.

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but hopefully this helps a little.

I am wondering the same thing. We don't want people to bring gifts to Mexico, like you said them being there is enough, but we are also having an AHR and two bridal showers for me, and we wanted to register for that..and if anyone wanted to get us a wedding gift that isn't coming to Mexico;).

I have seen people put something like "your presence is a gift enough, however if you feel inclined to congratulate us with a gift, we have provided the following registries for your convenience". This is a hard one!

Got this from another bride. Think it works well!

Please know that gifts are not expected, needed, nor required.  Your presence at our ceremony and celebration is the best gift that we could ever ask for!

However, to make things easier, we have registered at the following stores since we have had a few inquiries.

Simply put : " Your presence is your gift "
