Is anyone else making their own passport invitations?

I've started creating our template in Publisher, but I am wondering what type of paper do you use? I figured cardstock, but is there a specific weight? I am looking for the pearlized white type if anyone can direct me to a site that has a good deal on this kind.

Also, you you use 8 1/2 x 11 pages and cut them down to size or do you buy pre-cut pages.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I did but I did so the long way. I printed on one side (and paid attention to the orientation coming out of the printer), then just flipped them over and put them back in the printer and printed on the other side. It took some time and effort to get right, but my printer doesn't do two-sided printing.

The hardest part is the spacing on the back page and getting it to match with the front. I didn't print out the outline of the invites on the second page of course because they would have been backwards. I just made sure that what I printed would be centered on each invite individually.

Thanks for sharing!.. I really like the $10 one.. due to the stamps in the background..

Does anyone have a pdf or something I can view of their final project. I get confused too easily on these things :-/

I made one from scratch in publisher and its soo cute, but I couldn't figure out how to print the pages together or how to set the sizes.. I think I'm making this out to be more difficult than it realy is.
