Prototype Pocketfold Invites!

Hi everyone!  

Just got done with my "prototype" pocketfold invite!  I don't have any scrapbooking supplies yet, so I only used scissors.  Please excuse my crooked lines!  And of course it will be printed on the inside, and I think the monogram on the front will be printed also.  And I like the heart ribbon, but I think raffia ribbon could give it a nice look also. Let me know what you think!

I could also use some ideas for what to put on each card! Thanks!

I am not a pocketfold expert and have no idea what your plan is for the wedding such as if you will be traveling etc, but maybe for the sheets on the inside what about one with your official wedding invite type info, one for accommodations, one for travel booking info, one for rsvp...something like that?

I did boarding pass invites and even though they are different than what you are doing they still include different pages of info so you could also look around at those posts as well if you are interested in more people's ideas for structure and what they put for information in their invites. There are some really different and super cute ways people have worded their RSVP's and such!

Thanks for the links!  I think those titles for the cards would be good, we're doing a wedding at Beaches, so the ceremony/reception are kind of all in one.  Still working on the booking process, so I can't really start until then.  Debating on whether or not to buy the premade pockets and make them my own, or to make them completely from scratch.  The premade pockets are $0.80 each, so not that bad at all.

Glad you found them helpful! Thats definitely not a bad price at all to have them started for you!!! Our paper was 47 cents per page (before shipping) and after shipping was probably close to 80cents per page so really if I had found that deal with pre-made sleeves I would have gone with it! We did have fun making ours though!

If you have the time and patience do it yourself as a fun project, if you are short on time (or patience lol) maybe have them pre-made. We made the boarding pass sleeves from scratch and it was not hard at all, but its quite the process, and as we are so picky I had to precicesly measure every piece of paper individually in 4 places, then score the paper in order to be able to fold it as it was thick card stock and would break at the seam and not fold nicely, and then we had to fold them all up once they were scored. It was a fun project but getting it down to a perfect process took a few practice pages.

We're still about a year and a half away, so we have plenty of time to make them all.  And yeah, that's why I figured I'd make a test one first to see what it would entail.  The pocket was by far the hardest part, so having that premade would help a ton!  I bet all that time you took really helped make them look professional, and that's what I'd like to work towards with mine
