DJ in Cancun area

Recommended Posts

I am not sure if this is the right thread to ask about DJ, but hopefully someone can help.

I am looking to hire a DJ for our wedding, and was looking at both Doremixx and Mannia. Apparently both DJ works with my resort (Gran Caribe). My WC quoted me the following prices:

$950 for 4 hours and $700 for light up dance floor, is this around standard or is our resort over charging?  THANKS!

Hi there,

Theres a number of threads on this topic so you may find it helpful to do a search on both DJ's.  Since the serivces may very it is good to gert a quote from the DJ's themselves.  However; I can tell you that I have read great reveiws on both however; I decided to go with DJ Mannia.  Good Luck in your search.

;-(  Some vendors are faster in their response than others (which for me is a biggie and helps to determine who I am going with).  But I can say that DJ Mannia's quote is in line with what I was told.  However; I did not get a dance floor.

We are getting married at Moon Palace and they charge a vendor fee.  So see what your resort charge (if anything) for an outside vendor.

Dj Doremixx did not even reply my email send on last Wed. :(

Sweet!  Just double check because sometimes the DJ will factor this into your cost.

Also, it seems both DJ works with my resort, so looks like I can skip on the outside vendor fee if I go with either one.
