Does he have any hobbies that you could incorporate into his gift?
My step dad is an avid Golfer so I may be getting him something to do with that.
The rest of our parents will probably be getting personalized hankies.

Thanks!
We are not getting married at the falls, we are planning on doing the TTD the day or two after the wedding.
We were planning on going in, and paying admission but I've read that the falls split in a few different areas, and if we can get away from the rest of the tourists, take some pics.
I'm also looking in to the Coyaba River Gardens, which is very close to our resort.

Has anyone done their TTD at Dunns River Falls?
I'm just wondering how easy it would be to sneak away from the groups to take a few pics.
I've never been there before so I'm not sure of the terrain.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jamie

We are having our approx 5 months after the wedding.
We are doing a backyard BBQ style (catered), but still inviting all 250ppl!
I don't think that are any rules or etiquette you need to worry about, just do what you want to do!
Another option for you is maybe a new years eve drop in, if you want your AHR to be close to your wedding.

Too funny, I read this and LOL, I've got a wicked stepmom too!
I'm not getting her anything!
I wasn't planning on getting our step parents anything anyway, except my stepdad.

My girls ordered the multiway dress from Victoria's Secret.
VS has lots of dresses and most of the summer stock is on sale right now.

I believe it is "Ma Sexy", from DaFont.com.

I believe Aldo bought them out so this explains it but I just wanted to share as there are great options for both men and women. We did flip flops for our guys but the loafers and boat shoes are on so cheap I am tempted to get those too!!!
They also have lots of fun colours for anyone looking for coloured shoes, tons of wedge options so that the ladies dont sink in the sand etc.just wanted to let you all know as I think I am going to be able to get my girls their shoes for $25 EACH!!!! Under $100 for 3 pairs of shoes... can't beat that!!!

So, I had been struggling with this decision for a while. We don't really have "a" song that we could automatically choose.
There was a song that always made us smile when we first started dating, but It kind of lame, and I really didn't want it as our first song.
Well,...FI choose "our" song and it's perfect! God Gave me You - Blake Sheldon. We both love Blake and song is perfect to be "ours" for all the years to come!

I have a few local printers that will be less than the $1 Staples charges.
I still may print them at home, we are waiting for our sample paper to arrive. It is a metallic White Cardstock (and red ones for the Pocket part) which I may not be able to use in our printer, but it's worth a try.
I'll post our final outcome when the time comes.

I found all of my pics in ClipArt archives.I saw this picture and fell in love with it!

Thanks Ladies,
That's why you need more than one set of eyes!
On my "Good" copy I have it set out so that 1 sheet of paper is the same boarding pass thus 5 sheets will make me 3 Invites.
Now I'm not a math girl...and I am having the hardest time trying to figure out how many sheets I need to make 55 Invites.... Anyone?

Hello Ladies! and Gents?...
Before I make the leap to print out our invites, I would like your honest opinions!
We are only sending these to the guests that are already booked and coming to the wedding. I don't know many of the details of locations and times so I will be providing that info. down there, and hopefully the invite conveys that.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm having trouble ordering from two different emails right now too.
Never had the issue before.

There are lots of things you could do with the postcards!
We are using them as our guest book for both Jamaica and our AHR.
I created bookmarks from the oversized postcards.
Some brides use them for their welcome books as the cover.
Check the Vistaprints threads for more ideas.

We've been working with Melissa Forbes from Island Routes [email protected]
She has been amazing (make sure you tell her I recommended you!).
My FI went on a deep Sea Fishing excursion with them last year and loved it! They offer all kinds of excursions.
The price is excellent! Way better than what the resort offered us! And in my opinion better than a sit down dinner that we could have done in Canada!

Finally! I've found some other brides getting married here!
We're booked for January 4, 2012, doing things a little different, as I've had some issues with the WCs. No Dinner but a catamaran reception organized off-site for our guests.
How is eveyone else experience with the WC? I want to finalize the ceremony but they said they can't really customize it....Doesn't quite make sense to me.

I wasn't going to do luggage tags (tight budget) but I gave in this week!
I grabbed the badge holders from Walmart (12 for $1.98) and printed of the tags on my home printer.
They will now be going in our invitation package along with the invite, Tourist Mag, Packing List and Excursion Price List.
