Starfish and Sandollars

Recommended Posts

Hi: My daughter is getting married in Mexico in October. I would love to take starfish and Sandollars with us. We live in Ontario and am getting the impression that all the companies that sell them are in the US. I'm also getting the impression That Canada is not allowing these items to be shipped here? Am I correct? If so how can I get around this ?If I am Incorrect where should I buy them from. If all this is not possible (to bring starfish) then does anyone have any other Suggestions. Remember I'm in Canada. BTW this Website has been a God send for me. I have been lurking here for months and have learned sooo much from all of you. If I come up with any great ideas or sources I will share them With you wonderful ladies ! Thanks Marissa's Mum

They are a Vancouver based company, the prices were great, and they shipped really fast!  I got finger starfish, sea urchins and sand dollars - they are all real - I love them!

I went to Pier 1 Imports and bought a white starfish tea light holder, it was 6 dollars! I think I posted it earlier today but since I'm still a 'noob' I can't tell if I attatched it properly. Anyways, I did see some things of interest -- white paper lanterns with lights 3 for $18 (and quite a few other assorted colours), they had a nice bag of potporri with (what looked like) coral pieces and shells, and all kinds of teal tealights and they had a conch shell that has an LED light in it too. I'm thinking I will have to go back and pick up some stuff, since it's all seasonal items, but I'm sure it's all on their website

Brenners,

The shells were all white with some coral coloured accents. The conch shell was ivory, and it didn't weigh too much, I think it was about 10 dollars, I'm thinking about going back today with one of my bridesmaids and picking up some more stuff. I know its considered 'seasonal', so if we don't buy it now, we'd have to search the web for stuff
