Hi Everyone!

I love the Boarding Pass STD's and would love to do something similar for my Feb/Mar 2012 wedding. Originally I thought I'd do them myself, but I'm having second thoughts.

I'd love to hear some feedback from the DIYourselfers in terms of time spent creating and cost savings (my invite list is about 100, but there are a lot of couples so it's more like 60 mailing addresses).

Also for those that used paper/invite company's let me know how your experience went too.  Was it worth the cost?  Does anyone have an average price/invite?  Lastly if there's anyone in the Vancouver with some card vendor recommendations, please let me know.

Thanks so much!

I did boarding pass STDs as well. I did not do them myself because I am not crafty at all! If you are, there are tons of threads on here with templates.  I would also recommend checking out Vista Print. A lot of DIY ladies here love & use this site for everything!

I used Rebecca (Allurements by Rebecca) and she is amazing & great to work with. I loved everything she has done for me! I plan on using her for my passport invites, travel brochures, welcome books and anything else I need done!

She is a vendor on here as well. You could probably do a search on her & see tons of examples that she has done! Beautiful work!  Sorry I don't have mine to show you. They should arrive in about a week!!!!

Here is her site, some prices on there as well: http://www.allurementsbyrebecca.com/

Good luck!!

From a bride who just finished my DIY boarding passes I will say this... I save ALOT of money... I made an envelope for the boarding passes and I did 3 boarding passes per invite and it cost me just over $1 per invite and I did 60 as well. For what I wanted I was looking at $5 per invite from anyone on etsy or elsewhere. I saved over $200! I am happy about that now obviously however while I was cutting them I was wishing that I had paid someone else to do it. Also, I have looked at them SO much that I am not in love with them anymore....

Moral of the story I guess is if you can squeeze it in your budget to have them done I would but if you have a tight budget DIY will work out to save you money :)

I honestly didn't think I would be able to them for the price that you said! That's crazy!! Hmm..may need to reconsider then..that's what BFF's are for, right? Cutting and stuffing.
