Two questions actually.....

 

If you are getting married on the beach do you HAVE to use that beach gazebo or do you get a chioce of an arch?

 

Also do any of you plan on shipping down any decorations or what not?

Hi!  I was hoping someone would answer your post, because I wanted to know that, too.  I'm not sure, but I think that you can rent the arch from the florist that the resort uses, Tai Flora.  I must have seen about a dozen weddings at ROR when I vacationed there, and every wedding was done at the beach gazebo.  So it's probably extra (and expensive) for the arch.

 

I'm going to try to bring everything down with me in extra suitcases.

If you want to get married on the beach, you have a choice of 2 locations. One is the beach gazebo & the other is on the beach to the left of the gazebo (its to the left if you are standing facing the gazebo) towards the end of the beach.  You do not have to use the beach gazebo if you don't want to & you don't necessarily have to have any type of arch unless you want to. I think I remember a few ROR brides who used a standard type of arch but you'll have to ask the coordinator for more details.

 

Also, at the time that I was married there, I don't believe that ROR accepted any wedding related shipments. You'll have to bring any additional deocartions down with you.
