what to wear under a low backed dress for 'support'?

Recommended Posts

My dress shop keeps telling me that I need a bustier for my low backed dress but I have had the hardest time finding one that is low enough. I have been looking for weeks.

Several people have suggested sewn in cups but the shop is convinced that I won't be happy with them because I am a D.

I know that a lot of wedding dresses have low backs. What do most girls do? What are you doing?

You can try adhesive bras. Victoria Secrets used to do some, I think they discontinued them but you can still find some on the net, just type "adhesive bras" in google and see.

I had a backless dress, this is what I went for, it worked well.

I went with the stick on bra. I found it at Target because VS was out of my size. Not sure it will work with a D but I love it and wear it all time. I also don't know why sewn in wouldn't work, maybe get a second opinion from a seamstress...

Hi Ladies

I did post this info on another thread, but I'll share it here too.  I am also having the same problem I am a 34G and was stuck with what I was going to do for support.  I searched the internet high and low and came accross the Faveo Freedom Bra, it is a strapless backless bra that will support larger ladies (apparantly scientists worked long and hard on the invention).  I am from the UK and I know that it has really good reviews over here, I am yet to try it myself but I will be ordering one just to see if it works.

This is the link to a couple of websites.

Let me know if any of you ladies purchase one.
