Jamy , Huatulco is beautiful , there are two very nice hotels which I would recommend: ones is Las Brisas and the other Quinta Real.

By the was Quinta Real offers real good packages for wedding , my cousing got married there and was really beautiful. They make you a package with everything:

- legal marriage , judge, setting at beach

- Religious marriage , including the setting at church, flowers, music, priest.

- Reception: flowers, setting, jazz band for dinner, live band, corkage fee, dinner, 2 extra hours, late dinner for "tornaboda", and some other things... it was for 120 people like 25,000 USD ... something like that...

Jamey, check out Cooper Canyon. Never been there, but that is an area that FI are looking into for a honeymoon. The Unolodge is really remote--- 6000ft in the Sierra Madres and nothing is around for 6 miles. Unolodge is an eco-friendly place, and very simple/plain. We like the idea of being that secluded from everyone. But when we were looking at the Cooper Canyon area, there were some really beautiful haciendas in that area that would probably be a little more populated, but not densely populated with tourists.... (I think, based on what I saw)

I think you have to flight to Mexico City and from there get a plane to Huatulco... the area around its very beautiful, you can go also check the whole area of Oaxaca which is beautiful.

The Quinta Real is very HM and super romantic , some of the rooms have plunge pools overlooking the sea in a hill, a breathtaking view!!

Thanks Maria & Edna, I'd never heard of that before. Yet another place in Mexico that will haunt me til I get there. I love it!! Can I just take a month off of life and travel through Mexico? That's probably still not enough time.....well there's always a virtual vacation via google . . .lol
