Depending on the Judge:
1. It can be that he or she ask you both if you promess to respect each other, etc. etc.
or
2. It could be that instead of asking, you will be doing the promess to each other.

Just give a a couple of minutes and i will attach the document to give you an idea...

This words are normally readen in the Riviera Maya but it could be some changes all over Mexico... My mother is also a Justice of the Peace in Acapulco and the vows are not the same here than there.

Actually the letter from the legendary mexican poet Melchor Ocampo that is readen here is not supposed to be readen anymore (because the woman's rights in the original and complete letter are not the same than the men's rights and today it supposed to be equal) but they still mention it. However those words from that ninetenth century poet still being very romantic!
