Does anyone watch TrueBlood?

I think they want you to think it was Eric, but it is a little too obvious for me. If the writers start getting that predictable, the show is going to go down hill.

Maybe Lorena but I really don't know that I want to get back into that storyline.

It would be a good way to introduce the Weres but then it becomes a question of why.

We haven't seen Andre or any of the Queen's guards so maybe she is pissed about Bill knowing about the V?

So, here are some theories for season 3...

1) Jessica / Hoyt drama

2) Sam finding his family drama

3) Why would they show Hadley this season when she doesn't appear in the books until #8 or 9? She joins the queen, so one would assume that she could have mentioned Sookie's abilities at some point or while she was glamored. Could Bill have met Hadley before? He did show up in Bon Temps suddenly in season 1. If there was some ulterior motive, that could break the 2 of them up, leaving room for Eric in the picture.

I don't know where they will go with Tara, Layafette or Jason and we don't have any clues from the books. I think they are so off-track now the books just kind of serve as a reference point.

One of the fan sites has a thread about who should play which characters. Of course it is all speculation and most of the people that have been voted for are all failry big names so who knows if they would ever agree to the role:

Debbie Pelt - Christina Ricci

Quinn - Jason Statham (Crank, Transporter)

Amelia - Liv Tyler

Who do you think would be a good Alcide?

Hmmm..I'm not sure I'd be crazy about any of that casting. I LOVE Jason Statham (especially in The Italian Job) but I don't see him as Quinn. I picture Quinn a little more exotic looking, tan skin, etc. I don't like Christina Ricci at all. For Alcide, maybe the guy that plays Desmonde on LOST, just cause he has that wild hair look that they mention in the books for Alcide. But he's all I can come up with, and honestly, I don't think he's hot and couldn't see him and Anna Paquin having chemistry. It will be interesting to see who they cast.

Hmmm good questions Erin! I'm wondering what they will do about Claudette and Claude. Claudette was suppposed to be in season 1 but they cut her part out. (ie: when Sookie threw the chains around that Rattray guys' throat - that was Claudette helping her and hiding in the bushes but we never got to see it!)

Not sure who I would cast for Alcide or Quinn. I really liked Alcide as a character and don't like Quinn at all :P

i think jason is definitely totally human. they've never let on that he had any special power or anything.

you girls are killing me with all your references from the books. i'm so lost.

i thought bill/jessica was just a father/daughter moment. he was unusually nice to her because he had engagement on the brain and she was unusually awkward because she was lying to him and totally going against everything he was trying to teach her about not feeding on humans.

Breaking News Alert: Rabid fans of Area 9 Sheriff Eric Northman have taken credit for abducting local vampire William Compton. The group contacted authorities with demands yesterday. According to one source who requested to remain anonymous, the group of individuals, all linked to the forum for the HBO series "True Blood," refuse to return Compton until writer Alan Ball meets their list of demands, which include specific directions that: (1) Northman gets treated more favorably in the series, including 98% of the series screen time; (2) Ball desist in destroying Northman's character in general and with plot lines that differentiate from "the books"; (3) "stop making Eric look like a giant asshole"; and (4) "totally give [them] more shots of Eric like completely nekkid [sic] and stuff." The source then added, "wooooo!" When asked to comment, local telepathic nuisance Sookie Stackhouse commented, but no one was listening.
