I've been researching this site for the last 6 months and I finally cracked and signed in. My fiance and I are getting married at the Dreams Los Cabos in less then 3 weeks. I thought that a destination wedding will be less of a hassle since you buy a package and you let the wedding coordinator do the rest. Surprise, surprise it ended up being more trouble and work for me. I just don't have the personality of a destination wedding bride (a bit of a control freak).

 

I'm at the point of contacting DJ's. I spoke to a few and so far the most reasonably priced one is Paco Davila. Does anybody know anything about him? Any comments, recommendations?

You're gonna LOVE being a part of this amazing forum!!!

 

Even if you are somewhat of a "reluctant" Destination wedding bride, I think you will find this site to be a dream come true! BDW has proven to be invaluable in my planning, and it's comforting to know that there are other brides and grooms out there experiencing the same highs and lows during their planning process -- a friend is always just on the other side of your computer screen!

 

CONGRATULATIONS and Welcome to BDW...it's a wedding-planning heaven!

Congratulations! I was just the same as you--but I have been so glad I joined!! I've gotten so many great ideas from this site--all the better for the control freak in me too--it seems you can be as involved in or not as you want to be with destination weddings :)
