Excursions for the more adventurous??

Has anyone done the zip line thing with the wedding party? I found XPLOR which has the zip lines + snorkeling and a few other activities.. looks really fun !!!

I don't know if there are other places to do the zip line?

 

 

What other adventurous activities have you done and do you recommend them?

Our party went to Hidden Worlds. They have ziplines throughout the park, many go into cenotes. There are two snorkeling tours and a skycycle. Everyone had a hoot. Your wedding is in July, you might wan to look into the whale shark diving off of Holbox. This is a beautiful phenomenon that anyone interested in diving will enjoy. I would highly recommend exploring the ruins of Coba on bicycle. This is a huge property and you can spend the entire day riding around the jungle and climbing on ruins. However, it is inland and will be very warm and humid in July, so be prepared. There is also a lake outside Coba, but I'm not sure how accessible it is or if you can rent kayaks or something that would be a fun way to cool off.

Thanks! the ziplines on the hidden worlds tour - how many ziplines were there ? Where they pretty high up?

They have two zip lines and they probably start at 30 ft and then end on the ground.

Hidden World has a webite - this has a few photos. There are only 2 zip lines, but you can ride them as often as you want. We really enjoyed the zip line where you land in water at the bottom. All of the ativities here were fun. As an extra bonus... there are photographers there who take action photos of everyone - so you can buy the cd at the end of the day. They got a lot of shots that I wouldn't have been able to get myself.
