I got roped into reading the Twilight books from a couple of coworkers! They were good though :) I also read all of the Emily Giffen (Giffin?) books (Something Borrowed) which was great chic-lit. It was similiar to Jennifer Wiener (who I adore).

I'm on a reading kick now... lol. Haven't really read very much over the years, but this year I've been making up for it.

So far what I have read this year and liked is

Marley and Me

The Harry Potter Series

The Twilight Series

The True Blood Series (almost completed series - on All Together Dead)

The Host by Stephenie Meyer

Next on my reading list (in no particular order):

The City series (City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Bones) by Cassandra Clare

The House of Night Series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast

The Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong

Art Of Racing In The Rain by Garth Stein

Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin

Something Blue by Emily Giffin

The Darkest Power series (Awakening, Summoning, Reckoning) by Kelley Armstrong

I loved this book! I keep hearing she may be continuing this story line with a few more books and I really hope so, I love the characters! Frankly at this point I just want her to write another book, I really like the way she tells stories.

I totally agree. Whenever people ask me what type of books I read I think I scare them a bit, because I really do read a bit of everything, I can't be tied down to one genre. Fiction, non-fiction, biography, romance, horror, you name it, I've read it. I even find myself in the children's section on a regular basis, because the books coming out are just fascinating.

About the only type I haven't tackled is Western, but I haven't crossed it off the possibilities list, you just never know.
