You're lucky! I was told by several family members that I was not getting a shower because I am not "getting married here". I guess they feel that since I am not treating them all to a lavish affair with a reception then I should not be entitled to a shower. Even though we are having an AHR (catered lunch in a banquet hall) that doesn't qualify.

Well, my sister and 11yr old daughter are my only bridesmaids. I thought my family might throw something together, but nope.
