I wanted to have something for our guests to keep cool during the ceremony. I ordered 48- 10" Natural Rafia fans for $31.80. To make them a little prettier, I purchases 5/8" ribbon in green and

I bought a pink one at a garage sale for $0.25 with 10 glue sticks, so I was hoping to use that. Otherwise it would be a waste of money. LMAO. No, I just thought I could use it for DIY wedding stuff and could not pass it up for that price.

I just did my fans this weekend too, but haven't taken any pictures yet.

 

I also bought the oriental trading ones and was very surprised by the size differences!! I actually need a few more so I'm going to order another pack and probably just pull out the largest ones.

 

Julie, I used a glue gun on mine and they were fine, it actually helped to put glue in a couple of spots along the way to hold it in place tight, just don't overdo it in one spot because it might bleed through the ribbon.

 

I really like how Jessica did hers too!! But theres no way I'm redoing all of mine!

I just tried to order some and they told me they are out of stock. I hope for your sake that this is just a temporary thing. Wait, why are you so ahead of the game. I have nothing done. Literally, I do not even have my dress altered yet. Should I be panicking?

damn it!! I only think I need 2 or 3 more, hopefully they'll have some soon! Or maybe if anyone has a few extra to sell they can let me know!

 

I'm really not that ahead of the game! I don't even know what dress I'm wearing yet, I just felt like I needed to get something done, so I did the fans this weekend and our cake topper.
