Glue Dots are great!

I can't believe someone is getting rich off of this, but it's basically a dot of glue on a piece of wax paper with plastic over it. You peel back the plastic and stick the dot on whatever you need. I believe allot of scrapbookers use it.. less messy and no wait time for drying of glue.

We ended up skipping the hanging ribbon though.
Oh I like these better! How did you get the ribbon on the top part? Was it tough weaving through the actual fan? Remember the width of the ribbon you used?

I got the fans from Oriental too and just weaved the ribbon right through the fan. No, it wasn't tough at all. There are usually small spaces in the raffia by the top base o fthe handle anyway, so I just slipped the ribbon through them. For those fans that didn't have any spaces, I just used scissors to push the ribbon through. It's a lot easier for me to do than explain properly!

The ribbon width I used was 5/8"
