We have a relatively large wedding party, so the rehearsal dinner would include most people by the time you add in dates, parents of the children and our parents. I think there would only be 10 people left out and I would feel really bad so I would like to open it to everyone. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. My FI's parents just wanted to do a little something as a thank you for everyone that is making the journey down to share in our wedding. I am not worried about it taking away from the wedding at all. That will be a special day no matter what we do during the week. Plus, we were thinking that we'd all have dinner together and then separate for our bachelor/bachelorette parties:)

if only a few people would be left out then yeah you kinda have to have everyone. LOVE the idea of separating for your bachelor/bachelorette parties afterward ... as long as it's not the night before the wedding ... that could make for a difficult, hungover wedding day! wink.gif
